Where is it?
The estate is situated on it's own in a fair distance from the next neighbor in the Bohemian forest. Just across the road you find the natural reserve of Zelenov. A good walk can take you to pleasant little village of Pasecnice or to the lake of Babylon for a swim. There are a lot of spectacular biking routes around the area amid lakes, ponds, mountains, meadows and deep forests. A 10 minutes drive can take you to the first skying on Čerchov (Schwarzkopf)
The property is in a very convenient location. It is just 12 Km from the German border. About 220 Km to Munich and 160 Km to Nurnberg. But you can easily reach the Austrian or Swiss alps with about a 5 hour drive.
There are also a lot of beauty to be found on the Czech side in the vicinity of the estate. The historical towns of Domazlice, Horsovsky Tyn and Klatovy are only a short drive away but you can never finish exploring the picturesque villages, ruins and the nature.
The sky resort of Zelezna Ruda is less then an hour drive. So is the university town of Pilzen. You can reach Prague and its international airport in about an hour and a half. In about the same distance you find the ancient spa towns of Marianske Lazne (Marienbad), Frantiskovy Lazne (Franzensbad) and the world famous Karlovy Vary (Karlsbad).
